A back to basics doodle approach for RTÉ's newly launched tween/teen channel TRTÉ. I designed the logo and the hand drawn classical animated idents. I reckon there's about 1,500 frames of hand drawn doodles in the animation process and there will be more to come (my hand is deformed!). Muchos kudos to Stephen McNally for his compositing work in After Effects & Ivan Fitzpatrick for his music! Also a special mention to Conor Cassidy who designed the sister brand RTÉjr, Jim Booth and Donna Byrne from RTÉ Presentation Department and everyone at RTÉ Young Peoples.

Also, there's a 'Doodle a TRTÉ Christmas Ident Storyboard' competition open to all students in full-time education up to and including undergraduate level on 31st December 2010 including primary school, secondary school and undergraduate students.
Closing date is Wed 20th October 2010.
